Do you need tools?
You will need to purchase a tool kit to start. I have sources good products to make your painting easier. If you have the right tools it makes your work easy. However if you are an experienced painter you can bring your own tool kit, with option to purchase anything of our tools kit.

Art Classes 2026 - 2027
Acrylic Painting
DAY / TIME: Mondays 9am -12pm
DURATION: 6 WEEKS
COST: $200 TOOL KIT: $34
LEVEL: ALL WELCOME
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Canvas (12" x 16"), Brush kit, Acrylic paints (Matisse is a good Brand) Apron, Hand towel, 2B pencil, note book, eraser.
Extra Cost if you do not have tools:
Tool Kit $34 (for Beginners) - includes Canvas, brush kit, palette Board, white pencil, black pencil, eraser.
The course starts with the basics. You will get an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of painting with acrylics.
Different techniques, brush work, blending colours, enhancing your art by understanding your lights and darks, how to mix paints, understanding colours and use of colour and much more.
This course is on going so after you finish your
6 wks you are welcome to stay on and paint anything of your choice.

Drawing Faces Part 1
DATE: Sunday 4th October 2026
TIME: 10am - 1pm
DURATION: 3 HOURS
COST: $85
LEVEL: ALL WELCOME
MATERIALS REQUIRED: 2B, 4B & MECHANICAL PENCILS, ERASER, SKETCH PAD / PAPER
The course starts with the basics. You will get an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of drawing the face and head. Using simple forms and measured landmarks you will learn to see the face in a much more simple manner (and less daunting) - making your next portrait seem far more achievable.
You will learn the basics, as well as how to add highlights and shadows to the face in order to add realism and dimension to your drawing.
This quick course is aimed at those with a basic understanding of drawing in pencil, but even the complete beginner will come away feeling more confident in their portraiture skills.
Acrylic Painting
PALETTE KNIFE TECHNIQUES
DAY / TIME: Thursdays 9am - 12pm
DURATION: 6 Weeks
COST: $200 TOOL KIT: $40
LEVEL: ALL WELCOME
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Canvas (14" x 14"), Brush kit, palette knife, paints, Apron,
Hand towel, 2B pencil, note book, eraser.
Extra Cost if you do not have tools:
Tool Kit $40 (for Beginners) - includes Canvas, brush kit, palette Board, white pencil, black pencil, eraser, palette Knifes.
The course starts with the basics. You will get an in depth understanding of the fundamentals using a palette knife to create interesting effects in your art.
You will learn the basics, as well as incorporating brush work, the use of brushes, blending, learning about lights and darks and how to make your art pop.
You have a choice of what you want to paint, bring an image or choose one of ours.
Anyone can join this class no art experience needed.
This course is on going so after you finish your

Acrylic Painting
MANDALAS
DAY / TIME: Thursdays 1pm - 4pm
DURATION: 6 Weeks
COST: $200 TOOL KIT: $50
LEVEL: ALL WELCOME
MATERIALS REQUIRED: 2B, 4B, Large Metal Ruler (Bunnings has then 2 in a pack), 2 x Jell pens fine point (white & Gold), Brush kit, Canvas (14" x 14"), Acrylic paints(Matisse is good brand)
Extra Cost if you do not have tools:
Tool Kit $50 (for Beginners) - includes Canvas, brush kit, palette Board, white pencil, black pencil, eraser, large metal ruler, gold jell pen, silver jell pen.
The course starts with the basics. You will get an in depth understanding of the fundamentals of drawing up a Mandala. You will be able to individually create your own Mandalas with the use of patterns supplied, you may also bring along any images or patterns you wish to use. You will learn the techniques of painting, blending and understanding the use of colours, the use of brushes and how to care for them.
This course is on going so after you finish your
6 wks you are welcome to stay on and paint anything of your choice.
Art Expression
DAY / TIME: Wednesday 1pm - 4pm

We will explore our emotions, looking within, reducing stress and anxiety. We will also look at different techniques, brush work, blending colours, enhancing your art by understanding your lights and darks, how to mix paints, understanding colours and use of colour and much more.

This is part 2 of Drawing Faces, it is best to do part 1 however you are welcome to just do this course.

Paint The Inner You

In this class you will imagine the inner you, paint the person you think you are.
This short course starts with the basics. Preparing your canvas, which brushes to use and how to maintain your bushes in good order, blending colours, enhancing your art by understanding your lights and darks, how to blend paints.
Everything supplied: canvas, the use of studio brushes and paints.
Anyone can join this class no art experience needed.
Dare to go there!!! Portrait painting is challenging but with my guidance anyone can do it.
Sometime the image you are painting can have a mind of its own. I painted this image thinking it was going to be soft and just brush work but half way through all I could think about was using a pallet knife to add to the hair then the shoulders.
I suggest after a couple of terms you should explore Portrait paints whether realism or abstract, imagination your choice.
